Gusty winds could produce gutsy performances on US 1

A strong tail-wind will be in runners’ favor this weekend for the 10th annual Keys 100 Ultramarathon.

Winds are forecast out of the southeast from 15 to 20 miles, but the humidity will be intense, making it tough on runners.

That is why they call it an ultramarathon — it is not supposed to be too easy.
